This list ranks 10 of 12 eligible listings in our Vancouver, BC directory, Canada. It covers this directory location, not the wider metro area or every restaurant in the city.
How this ranking works
We use stored ratings from the directory snapshot generated on 2026-09-24. That is the dataset build date, not the date every restaurant or rating was checked.
- Higher stored ratings come first. Equal ratings are ordered by recorded rating count, then restaurant name and listing slug. Missing counts have no count-based tie-break advantage.
- There is no minimum rating count or adjustment for sample size, age or provider. A small or unknown sample can outrank a well-documented listing.
- Only listings with a stored rating between 1 and 5 are eligible. Known temporarily closed, permanently closed and relocated listings are excluded. An unknown status does not confirm a restaurant is open.
- We publish a maximum of ten entries, and only for locations with at least five eligible listings. Branches at different addresses are separate listings.
- These are automatic rankings, not editorial picks, restaurant awards or paid placements. Sponsorship does not affect the order.
The directory includes broader dumpling and Chinese restaurant candidates. Inclusion does not verify traditional Cantonese dim sum, cart service or all-day yum cha. Confirm the current menu, hours and service format directly. See our directory methodology.
